Luminosity Studio now supports the ability to publish courses that are SCORM 2004 compliant. These courses can then be used on any SCORM 2004 compliant LMS.
The Project Properties dialogue has been updated to move all SCORM and tracking related options onto a new Tracking tab.
On the Tracking tab you can set the Tracking mode to be one of the following options:
- SCORM 1.2
- Published content is SCORM 1.2, Level 2 compliant.
- SCORM 2004
- Published content is SCORM 2004, 4th Edition compliant.
- No tracking
- The output includes the schema files for a SCORM 1.2 course, so that it can be uploaded to an LMS, but the courses does not interact with the LMS SCORM adapter. When launched from an LMS, the course will not perform any bookmarking, and the courses status will always remain as not attempted.
When the Tracking mode is set to either SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004, you can configure whether the course reports an overall score (the average score across all tracked assessments) to the LMS, whether the course reports objectives to the LMS, and specify the resume behaviour for the course.
These options have the same behaviour as in previous versions of Studio.
