13-10-2016 16:00: [Report only] We are aware that some users are experiencing problems accessing the LMS, and our support site. Users with this problem are reporting a certificate revocation error. This error is due to a problem with intermediate certificates issued by GlobalSign. GlobalSign (amongst other things) provide security certificates for websites and maintain revocation lists which are files downloaded automatically to your computer when you browse secure websites (and are intended to identify security certificates that have been compromised). In this instance, from the limited information we have, it appears that these revocation files have been modified incorrectly by GlobalSign. GlobalSign are working to resolve the issue.
Unfortunately, as this problem is caused by files which we do not control, and that are downloaded to your local devices (they do not come via our system), we cannot control the resolution for this event (which will require the incorrect files to be updated with correct files).
More information along with suggested fixes can be found on the GlobalSign twitter page (https://twitter.com/globalsign) or their website (https://www.globalsign.com/en/status/). GlobalSign are a third party and while they are experts in their field we cannot endorse, or provide support for, any changes or actions that they suggest you make to resolve this issue.
