27-10-2016 10:00: [Resolved] We have deployed an update to resolve this issue. Please contact support if you experience any further problems.
24-10-2016 10:48: [Monitoring] We are continuing to monitor this problem and are working to resolve the outstanding issues.
21-10-2016 14:22: [Update] We have made a change to mitigate this problem, however there is an ongoing impact from this change. While we continue to rework the solution to permanently resolve this problem, the number of seats taken for an event in the administration portal will always state 0. In the learner portals, the number of seats will always be the total number of seats for the session, and will not decrease as seats are taken. If you are using our new learner portal, users will recieve a success message when they attempt to enrol on a full session, but their status will not update to enrolled, and they will not be able to oversubscribe the session. They will not get a confirmation email and the status displayed will remain correct. This has no impact if there are seats available for the session in which case users will be enrolled normally. We anticipate a full resolution for thie problem week commencing 24th October.
21-10-2016 14:32: [Update] We are continuing to experience high load on our system which is causing content completion statuses for users to be out of date, and causing delays loading both administration and learner portals. We have identified the cause of the problem and are currently working on a solution.
21-10-2016 11:05: [Update] Our logs indicate that the mitigation has improved performance for most users, and the number of error pages being displayed is now close to zero. We will continue to monitor the situation, and are continuing to investigate the root cause.
21-10-2016 10:16: [Initial report] We are aware that some users may be seeing error messages in the administration portal, or learners may not be seeing content in the learner portal. We have identified excessive load on a core database and are increasing the capacity of this database to mitigate the impact while we investigate the root cause.
