Due to security requirements on Android and iOS devices, the use of HTTP links embedded in content items will fail to load when content is viewed in any Agylia App. This applies to both links to external web pages as well as to anything (such as audio or video) embedded in a page within a course.
The correct method for embedding or referring to external content is to use secure (HTTPS) links, which will continue to function as expected.
We have risk assessed options for enabling HTTP to continue to work in our Apps, and while there may be ways to make this possible, this would require us to override platform level security features designed to protect users, so we have decided that we will not modify this behaviour, and we will only support HTTPS links.
Summary
Always use HTTPS links to refer to external content or embedded media.
